The Center for Community Food & Resilience

is a project of the Urban & Environmental Policy Institute at Occidental College (UEPI), an applied research and advocacy center with the mission of advancing community-driven programs and policies to build healthy, thriving communities while achieving social, economic and environmental justice.

Working collaboratively with a wide range of community partners and organizations, the Center for Community Food & Resilience establishes projects and program models in the areas of schools, farmers’ markets, urban agriculture, and the Oxy Community to achieve just and resilient food systems and healthy green communities.
